Candidates for the position should have a strong knowledge of media relations, database management, programmatic content, marketing, social media, copywriting, printing, vendor management, and event planning. Responsibilities: Director of Communications and Alumni Engagement will perform duties and responsibilities that will advance the mission of Leadership Memphis through planning, implementing and evaluating the Communications and Alumni Engagement functions. This position will oversee the management of the alumni database, alumni coordinators, alumni communications, alumni relations activities, as well as LM alumni events and programs. This position will also oversee strategies to raise the visibility of LM, enhance the brand of LM, build a broader constituency for LM, generate quality/budgeted admissions for LM programs and support the Director of Operations in fundraising initiatives, including corporate, alumni and community sponsorships, general donations and grants. The Director will perform other duties as assigned, such as curator of the LM Gallery.
