Responsibilities:
- Learn targeted messaging in press releases and pitching
- Participate in media training classes
- Write press releases
- Write talking points
- Pitch stories
- Train in how to use the latest media contacts database as well as monitoring and reporting software from BurrellsLuce. This is a national, state and local media outreach software that operates through a Web portal. It has two pieces: a media contacts database and monitoring and reporting software that aggregates placements by media type, location, date, etc. as well as calculating the value of placements.
- Accompany clients to media interviews
- Other duties as assigned
